I love matcha and have paid a pretty penny for small batch, ceremonial grade brands in the past. Just like the founder of this brand, I wanted to keep drinking it but didn't want the caffeinated effect. I tried a small size of Caff Off ceremonial matcha from Amazon, first, and was skeptical. It was worth it! I later bought two of the larger sizes from this website and am very happy with my order. I don't feel a caffeine effect though the website indicates there is a minimal amount still left in their matcha. That is a good thing -I'd say less of a high then even decaf espresso, for reference. While the prices are high, I appreciate this is a small business that sources its leaves from a family farm in Japan and am comfortable paying for a high quality product.

For people like me who are sensitive to caffeine, I love this high quality decaf matcha. And the taste is really superior to other matcha teas out there. Well done! 👏

This is a super tasty and smooth matcha, especially when you prepare it the traditional way with a whisk. It still does have a small amount of caffeine so if you are super sensitive and make yourself a large cup you’ll get a little zing but honestly no crazy jitters! I am very caffeine sensitive so I probably couldn’t drink this at night but throughout the day it is such a nice treat. I also love that it bas no added sugar.

I cannot handle caffeine well at all, but I love teas and coffees and it is hard for me to find decaf alternatives that are processed without chemicals. This product is fantastic!
